What are the ideal water conditions?

Ideal water conditions are a temperature range of 23-27c. PH 6-7

What do you feed them?

As with other plecos it is well known for it’s algae eating but also requires a range of meaty foos such as Bloodworm, mussel and prawn.

How compatible is it with other fish?

Peaceful, suitable for any community tank.

How do you breed them?

The fleshy tentacles on the head of the male get longer as they mature, the female occasionally have small bristles.
