The Sucking Loach originates from China, Laos, Thailand and Cambodia.
How many can I keep?
Do not keep too many together unless you have a large tank as they can be territorial with their own kind.
What are the ideal water conditions?
Ideal water conditions are slightly acidic to neutral with a temperature of 20-28c and a PH of 6-7.5.
What do you feed them?
They are omnivores and will eat a variety of foods. Feed a varied diet of frozen, freeze dried, and pellets. An active algae eater when small.
How compatible is it with other fish?
May need to be re-housed to a boisterous community tank when adult.
