They can reach 21cm.

Where is its origin and where is it exported from?
The Bannerfish is found in the Indo-Pacific, including the Red Sea, Hawaiian Islands and East Africa.

Is it Reef Compatible?
Can be added with caution. Will nip at some soft corals, sponges and tubeworms. Will also help control Aiptasia.

What should I feed it?
Feed a varied diet of live food and frozen foods such as brine shrimp and Mysis. Feed several times a day. Can be fussy feeders so it is worth adding live food at first to get them feeding.
How many can I keep?
Best kept on its own, in pairs or in small groups in a large aquarium.

How compatible is it with other fish?
A peaceful fish. Best to add before aggressive species so it is established and confident.

Can it be bred in the aquarium?
No.
