What is the maximum size?
They can reach 10cm.

Where does it come from?
The Blackcap Gramma is from the Western Atlantic.

Is it Reef Compatible?
Yes but do not keep with small ornamental shrimps.

What should I feed it?
Best to feed a varied diet of frozen foods such as brine shrimp and mysis shrimp and live food.

How many can I keep?
This fish is best kept on its own or in pairs. Groups are possible in a very large aquarium.

How compatible is it with other fish?
A peaceful shy fish when first introduced, keep with similar temperaments. If kept with aggressive fish it may hide and not eat. Make plenty of hiding places with rock, a male will defend its hiding place once established. Do not keep with small gobies.

Can it be bred in the aquarium?
Yes has spawned in captivity.
