What is the maximum size of the Common Clownfish?
Females are larger and can reach 11cm while the males 7cm.

Where is its origin and where is it exported from?
The Common Clownfish come from the Eastern Indian Ocean and Tropical Pacific and is exported from Indonesia and the Philippines.

Is it Reef Compatible?
Yes the Common Clownfish should not harm invertebrates. This clownfish can be kept with an anemone but will do fine without. Host anemones can be Heteractis Magnifica and Stichodactyla Gigantea. Be aware that as many of the clownfish for sale are tank bred it can take a while for them to occupy an anemone.

What should I feed it?
This clownfish will eat a variety of foods, best to feed a varied diet of frozen foods, algae, live food and aquarium flake.

How many can I keep?
This fish is best kept on its own or as a pair. They can be kept in a small group but must be added small, less than 2 inches in a large tank.

How compatible is it with other fish?
A generally peaceful fish. There can be some aggression with its own species and damsels if they are territorial.

Can it be bred in the aquarium?
Yes this fish can be captive bred.
