The female is smaller; the male can reach 15cm.
Where is its origin and where is it exported from?
The Cream Angelfish is found in the Eastern Indian Ocean, usually imported from Sri Lanka.
Is it Reef Compatible?
May nip at large polyped stony corals. Should be fine to house with large ornamental shrimp.
What should I feed it?
Feed a varied diet of live food, frozen foods, flake food and plenty of algae. Does best with live rock to graze on.
How many can I keep?
Best kept on its own or in pairs. Will fight with its own kind.
How compatible is it with other fish?
This fish is peaceful and is generally only aggressive to similar species and its own kind. Can be bullied by larger tank mates so introduce as one of the first fish to the aquarium. Can act as a cleaner to other fish.
