What is its maximum size?
Females are smaller around 10cm, males can reach 14cm.
Where is its origin and where is it exported from?
Domino Damsels come from the Tropical Indo-Pacific.
Is it Reef Compatible?
Yes when young but some large adults can attack shrimps.
What should I feed it?
They will eat a variety of foods, best to feed a varied diet of frozen foods, live food and aquarium flake.
How many can I keep?
Best kept on its own or as a pair.
How compatible is it with other fish?
Keep with other robust fish. Young Domino Damselfish are not a problem but adults can be aggressive and territorial so only keep with other hardy fish.
Can it be bred in the aquarium?
Yes this fish can be captive bred. Once the female has deposited her eggs the male will guard them.
