They can reach 8cm.
Where is its origin and where is it exported from?
Emperor Cardinalfish comes from Indonesia.
Is it Reef Compatible?
Yes they will be not harm corals but may attack small shrimps.

What should I feed it?
They will eat a variety of foods, best to feed a varied diet of frozen foods such as brine shrimp and mysis, live food and aquarium flake.

How many can I keep?
Can be kept in groups in a large aquarium, otherwise keep on its own or in pairs.

How compatible is it with other fish?
This fish can be kept in a community tank. Do not keep with aggressive or territorial fish.

Can it be bred in the aquarium?
Yes this fish can be captive bred. Adult males usually have longer dorsal fins and a bigger jaw. The female will deposit her eggs in a cluster. The males will mouth brood the eggs and fry.
