What is its maximum size?
The female is smaller; the male can reach 26cm.

Where is its origin and where is it exported from?
The Flagfin Angelfish is found in the Western Pacific and along the East African coast. It is usually imported from Sri Lanka.

Is it Reef Compatible?
Not recommended for a reef aquarium, will nip at corals. Should be fine with larger shrimp such as the cleaner shrimp.

What should I feed it?
Feed a varied diet of live food, frozen foods, flake food and plenty of algae. Does best with live rock to graze on.

How many can I keep?
Best kept on its own.

How compatible is it with other fish?
This fish is peaceful and is generally only aggressive to similar species and its own kind. Can act as a cleaner to other fish.

Can it be bred in the aquarium?
No
