Where are they from?
The platy originates from Mexico Guatemala and Northern Honduras. Like the Swordtail, Platys have been farm bred to produce many colourful varieties.
How many can I keep?
These peaceful fish make an ideal addition to the community aquarium and are best kept in a least a pair.
What are the ideal water conditions?
All fish available are farm bred and will adapt to a wide range of water parameters. Water temperature is 21-25c and PH 6.5-8.
What do you feed them?
They are omnivores and will eat a variety of foods. Feed a varied diet of frozen, freeze dried and flake foods.
