Where are they from?
The Julli Cory originates from Brazil. Julii are often confused with the Peruvian Cory Trilinlatus.
How many can I keep?
Best kept in groups of 4 or more.
What are the ideal water conditions?
Ideal water conditions are slightly acidic to neutral water with a temperature of 22- 28°c, PH 6-7.5.
What do you feed them?
Corys will eat most foods that sink, feed a variety of flake, frozen foods and small granular food.
How compatible is it with other fish?
A peaceful small species, ideally suited to the small peaceful community tank.
How do you breed them?
Corydoras can be bred as a pair, a trio (2 males,1 female) or as a group. Feed fry on newly hatched brine shrimp. When viewing from above the female is broader from behind the pectoral fins. Males are smaller. Spawning is often brought on by a slight lowering of water temperature.
