What is its maximum size?
Males have been known to reach 40cm, the females are smaller. Juveniles are a different colouration to adults, does not reach adult colouration until 12-18cm.
Where is its origin and where is it exported from?
The Koran Angelfish is from in the Red Sea, East Africa and the Indo- Pacific.
Is it Reef Compatible?
No, will nip at most corals. Should be fine to house with large ornamental shrimp.
What should I feed it?
Feed a varied diet of live food, frozen foods and plenty of algae. Does best with live rock to graze on.
How many can I keep?
Best kept on its own. How compatible is it with other fish? House with other bold and robust tank mates. Most Juveniles are ignored by larger tank mates as they can act as a cleaner to other fish.
Can it be bred in the aquarium?
No.
