The males can reach 13cm, females are smaller.
Where does it come from?
The Longnose Hawkfish comes from the Indo-Pacific.
Is it Reef Compatible?
Will not harm corals but do not keep with small ornamental shrimps.
What should I feed it?
Best to feed a varied diet of frozen foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, mussels and live food.
How many can I keep?
This fish is best kept on its own or in pairs.
How compatible is it with other fish?
Will eat small fish so keep with fish of a similar size or larger. Will be aggressive towards its own kind and similar species.
