Females are larger and can reach 17cm while the males 10cm.

Where is its origin and where is it exported from?
The Maroon Clownfish comes from the Indo-Pacific.

Is it Reef Compatible?
Yes the Maroon Clownfish should not harm invertebrates and is best kept with an anemone. This clownfish will occupy the Bubbletip Anemone (Entacmaea Quadricolor).

What should I feed it?
This clownfish will eat a variety of foods, best to feed a varied diet of frozen foods, algae, live food and aquarium flake.

How many can I keep?
This fish is best kept on its own or as a pair.

How compatible is it with other fish?
This fish gets large and can be aggressive if defending an anemone. Do not house with any other clownfish.

Can it be bred in the aquarium?
Yes this fish can be captive bred. The females are larger than the males.
