How hard are they to keep?
We would class this fish as an easy care level. Often called the Yo Yo loach due to the patterns in young fish. Both sexes are similar but males are generally more slender. The females are noticeably plumper when full of eggs.

Where are they from?
The Pakistan Loach originates from North and North East India and Bangladesh.
How many can I keep?
Best kept in groups of 3 or more. Provide hiding places.
What are the ideal water conditions?
Ideal water conditions are a temperature range of 24-30°c and a PH of between 6.5-7.5. What do you feed them?
They are omnivores and will eat a variety of foods. Feed a varied diet of frozen, freeze dried, and flake foods. A bottom dwelling active scavenger. Will control snail populations. How compatible is it with other fish?
Active, peaceful suitable for community tank.
