Ideal water conditions are a temperature range of 26-29c. PH 6-7.5.

What do you feed them?

As with other plecos it is well known for it’s algae eating butit also requires meaty foods such as Bloodworm

How compatible is it with other fish?

Peaceful altough can be territorial with other bottom dwellers

How do you sex them?

Difficult to sex. Mature males have bristles on the gill covers and on the pectorial fins
