Synchiropus Ocellatus
This fish is often referred to as the Pink Scooter Blenny even though it is not from the Blenny family.
What is the maximum size?
They can reach 8cm. Males are larger than the females and are more colourful with a larger dorsal fin.
Where does it come from?
The Pink Scooter Dragonet comes from the Western Pacific.

Yes
What should I feed it?
This fish is difficult to feed and needs to be kept with live rock or sand to thrive. Best to also feed live brine shrimp and should take some frozen foods once established such as mysis shrimp and brine shrimp.
How many can I keep?
This fish can be kept on its own or in pairs. Groups could be kept in a larger aquarium with 2 or more females to 1 male if there is enough live rock for them all to feed off.
How compatible is it with other fish?
A peaceful fish best kept in a tank with fish of similar temperament.
Can it be bred in the aquarium?
Yes. Males will show their large dorsal fin when courting the females.
