What is the maximum size of the Skunk Clownfish?
Females are larger and can reach 10cm while the males 7cm.
 
Where is it exported from?
The Skunk Clownfish comes from Indo-West-Pacific.

Is it Reef Compatible?
Yes the Skunk Clownfish should not harm invertebrates. It is best kept with an anemone but will still thrive without. If this fish is kept in a reef tank without an anemone it may use a coral instead and this can damage the coral.
 
What should I feed it?
This clownfish will eat a variety of foods, best to feed a varied diet of frozen foods, algae, live food and aquarium flake.

How many can I keep?
This fish is best kept on its own or as a pair. They can be kept in a small group but must be added together and small, less than 2 inches in a large tank.
 
How compatible is it with other fish?
A generally peaceful fish. There can be some aggression with its own species and damsels if they are territorial.

Can it be bred in the aquarium?
Yes this fish can be captive bred.

Clownfish are the most recognised and popular marine fish. On a trip to the Far East David was lucky enough to spend the day at a farm who specialise in breeding clownfish. During the visit the farmer was kind enough to go into detail on the best way to breed clownfish.
