What is the maximum size?
In an aquarium around 16cm but in the wild up to 25cm.
Where does it come from?
The Radiata Lionfish comes from the Indo-Pacific.
Is it Reef Compatible?
Would not harm corals but will eat shrimps and other crustaceans.
What should I feed it?
Best to feed a varied diet of frozen foods such as mysis shrimp, Krill, mussels and live food.
How many can I keep?
This fish can be kept on its own, in pairs or in groups in a large aquarium.
How compatible is it with other fish?
Will eat small fish so keep with fish of a similar size or larger. Do not keep with aggressive fish which may nip at it.
Can it be bred in the aquarium?
This fish could potentially be bred in the aquarium.
Warning- This fish has venomous spines.
