What is its maximum size?
The female is smaller 8cm; the male can reach 10cm.

Where is its origin and where is it exported from?
The Rusty Angelfish is found in the Western Pacific, usually imported from the Philippines.

Is it Reef Compatible?
Will nip at large-polyped stony corals and some other corals but should be fine with ornamental shrimp.

What should I feed it?
Feed a varied diet of live food, frozen foods, flake food and plenty of algae. Does best with live rock to graze on.

How many can I keep?
Best kept on its own or in pairs. Will fight with its own kind.

How compatible is it with other fish?
Do not keep with any similar looking angels to avoid aggression. May chase new arrivals so have some hiding places in the tank.

Can it be bred in the aquarium?
Yes this fish has been bred in the aquarium.
