They are omnivores and will eat a variety of foods. Feed a varied diet of frozen, freeze dried, and flake. A beautiful fish which needs to be fed well on live or frozen food to maintain it's colour and sheen

An ideal community fish for the larger more boisterious aquarium.

The fish will spawn over dense plants or spawning mops. Feed the fry on infusoria.
