What are the ideal water conditions?
Will adapt to a wide range of water parameters. Ideal water conditions are a temperature of 23-28°c. PH 6-7.
 
What do you feed them?
Feed a varied diet of live and frozen food and dried food such as catfish pellets.
 
How compatible is it with other fish?
A peaceful species which will eat snails and small shrimps. A nocturnal species which require rocks or bogwood to construct hiding places.
 
How do you breed them?
Males are smaller than females. No recorded aquarium breeding.
