How hard are they to keep?
We would class this as a easy care level.

6.5cm
Where are they from?
The Sterbas Cory originate from the Amazon River,  Brazil. How many can I keep?
Best kept in groups of 5 or more.
What are the ideal water conditions?
Will except a wide range of water conditions. A PH of 5.6-7.5 is best. This species also prefers a higher temperature than most cory. Which while it is a suitable fish for any peaceful community aquarium, it is an ideal tank mate for warmer loving fish such as discus.
What do you feed them?
Corys will eat most foods that sink, feed a variety of flake, frozen foods and small granular food.
How compatible is it with other fish?
A peaceful community fish.
How do you breed them?
Corydoras can be bred as a pair, a trio (2 males,1 female) or as a group. Feed fry on newly hatched brine shrimp. When viewing from above the female is broader from behind the pectoral fins. Spawning is often brought on by a slight lowering of water temperature.
