Axolotl

Axolotl are a type of Salamander and make interesting, unique pets. They are fully aquatic and so require a submerged tank.
All species are tank bred and are therefore easy to keep as long as the water conditions are correct. As they are canivores, feeding should therefore be with a specialist Axolotl pellet and meaty frozen foods.
We recommend these are kept in a species only tank as they will eat any fish they can fit in their mouths.
